What we do
Pregnancy Test Checker AI reads a photo of a home pregnancy test and tells you whether it can detect a second line, including faint lines that are hard to judge by eye. The app has been downloaded by more than 76,000 people. You can download it on the App Store.
This website is the companion to the app. It has free tools, such as the pregnancy test inverter, the when can I take a pregnancy test calculator and the ovulation and period calculator, plus guides on reading pregnancy tests and fertility.

Matej Koval is an independent software developer and the author of the Pregnancy Test Checker AI app and this website. He designs and builds the app, trains and maintains the AI model that reads test photos, and writes and maintains the tools on this site.
Pregnancy Test Checker AI is an independent product. It has no affiliation with Inventive Mobile, any pregnancy test manufacturer, or any other company.
How we write our content
Our guides are written to answer the questions people have when they are holding a pregnancy test and are not sure what it shows. Every article cites its sources, which are listed at the end of the article, and we favour medical bodies and peer-reviewed research: the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Mayo Clinic, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the American Pregnancy Association and Planned Parenthood, alongside manufacturers' own published data on test sensitivity.
Our calculators are built on published data. The pregnancy test timing calculator, for example, models the chance of a positive result for each day past ovulation from published implantation-timing distributions and typical hCG doubling times, and states its assumptions on the page.
We review articles when guidance changes and show the date of the last update on each one. If you find something that is wrong or out of date, email us and we will look into it.
